Today's Missouri Hunt for Vic

My morning's Missouri hunt is offered as a memorial to Vic.  Many years ago I sent Vic some Vermont Butternut, and in return, he kindly made me a Trunk call using some of that wood.  The Trunk call was with me today, sending it's turkey music across a beautiful piece of Missouri turkey woods.  His spirit was definitely with me.  Rest in peace, old friend.

    I can think of no finer tribute to Vic! He always wanted for his calls to be hunted with!

    I'll be taking a couple of his yelpers and box calls with me on my hunts this weekend in TN and next week in WI. I too want to continue to keep his calls playing their Kanati music in the turkey woods.
