Vic and I are both Christians so prayer is nothing foreign to us. The first time I went hunting with Vic we took his Dad up to Paso Robles to shoot a Black tail. We got lucky and put his dad on a nice deer late in the morning. The big grin appeared and we all ran up to the deer to inspect the goods! First thing Vic did was grab my hand and his dads and says "we gotta give thanks to the big spirit in the sky!" It was  what I'll best describe as the "Christian / Indian" prayer. He made sure to tell me that whenever you kill something you need to lay your hands on the beast of the field and give thanks to the Creator.  So there we stood all holding hands with Vic laying hands on the deer. Good stuff.....
